Gibson Guitars

If you can catch a show that I just discovered on Travel HD called "Made in America" try to watch the current episode on Gibson guitars, made in Nashville, TN. Very interesting!

American Crafts

Another craft company I discovered recently: www.americancrafts.com

This company states, "All of our pens, markers and pattern papers are made here in the United States. American Crafts started as a pen manufacturer over sixteen years ago and we are proud that while almost every other pen and marker company has moved production out of the USA, we continue to manufacture ours right here in Orem, Utah."

I picked up some sparkly ones for my daughter at TJ Maxx recently, but I am sure these are sold at many craft stores across the U.S.A. The only one I could find in Oklahoma was:
SCRAP HAPPY'S-TULSA
918-250-0472

This may seem like a small item, and it is, but just think if everyone started paying attention to each thing we buy how we could start making a difference....saving jobs right here in our country.

Snifty Pen

I was browsing TJ Maxx and looked at some fun pens for stocking stuffers for my kids. When I saw they were Made in America I snatched them up....feeling good that my kids would be using something I considered safe and fun at the same time. For some pens that have different scents, which most kids I know love check out: www.sniftypen.com

Bella Notte

Many of us (including me) already know the beauty and comfort of this product. But, did you know that Bella Notte products are manufactured and finished in the United States by local community craftspeople? I personally think this is a great reason to consider this product the next time you are in the market for new bedding!

Stormy Kromer

WINTERGREEN/BLUE SPRUCE
When I opened my new Country Living Magazine and read about this company started in 1903 and still Made in America today I had to share it. With the weather getting chilly here and the holidays sneaking upon us I thought these were adorable for myself or gifts. On the fact page I got even more interested in supporting this business and sharing it with others. www.stormykromer.com.  Read the FAQ page and get excited like I did about the history, craftsmanship and just the fact that they have kept their quality and company here in the great US of A!

Made in America

In these economic times we need, more than ever, to support our American workers and do our part in trying to boost our economy. So, why not take a look at all of the great things made right here in the U.S.A.  Be it big or small, inexpensive or expensive, I will do my best to be a good resource for some of the great finds out there.

One amazing product I have found is the Tervis tumbler..."keeping your hot drink hotter and cold drink colder". Made right here in the USA with a lifetime guarantee! Anything safe for the dishwasher, microwave or freezer makes my life easier!
I am loving all of the personalized choices they offer such as American Pride, seasonal, football and more.
What a great gift for any occasion. I am thinking about the football, Halloween and Christmas at the moment! Check this product out for yourself:
